LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS AND COMMUNIST – Socialism is a fraud. Idealists, if they don’t surrender to corruption along the way, are destroyed by those for whom the quest for the dictatorship of the proletariat is less about the proletariat than about the dictatorship – the lust for power. Give me any communist country and I will tell you the richest person and/or family – the leader.
Hence, Castro in Cuba – “A prodigious womaniser and food connoisseur who kept some 20 luxurious properties throughout the Caribbean — including a private island he used to visit on his beautiful yacht — Castro was a complete fraud. The man who spent his life railing against the excesses of capitalism lived like a king — and a very debauched one at that.”
Or the Chavez family in Venezuela – “As of August 2015, Maria Gabriela Chávez — the dictator’s favorite daughter — is believed to be the richest individual in Venezuela, believed to be worth $4.2 billion, almost double the net worth of businessman Lorenzo Mendoza.”
Or Kim in North Korea – “North Korea’s controversial supreme leader Kim Jong-un has an estimated $5 billion (£3.5 billion) at his disposal… The UN says this money should be spent on raising standards in this imporverished country and on its people but much of it isn’t. So what exactly does Kim spend a reported $600 million (£422B) a year on?”
While people are searching through rubbish for food. But they can all read and write.
