DONALD DOES POLANDThis will be fun:

US President Donald Trump will visit Poland ahead of the Group of 20 summit in Germany next month.

“The visit will reaffirm America’s steadfast commitment to one of our closest European allies and emphasise the administration’s priority of strengthening NATO’s collective defense,” spokesman Sean Spicer said in a statement.Trump will discuss bilateral and regional issues with President Andrzej Duda and deliver a “major speech” on ties to central Europe at a regional meeting known as the Three Seas Initiative summit. The White House did not specify which dates Trump would be in Poland. The Three Seas Initiative summit is being held in Wroclaw on July 6-7 and the G20 is being hosted in Hamburg July 7-8.

Trump and the current Polish government should get on fabulously, both being great disbelievers in open borders. In addition, Poland is one of only four NATO allies which actually spends above the target of 2 per cent GDP for defence, and as such, pulls its weight in Trump’s books.
