ALL EQUALITIES ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS – Another great pick by Jeremy Corbyn:
A Labour MP who was once suspended by her party amid claims of anti-Semitism has been made shadow equalities minister.
In 2016, Naz Shah had the parliamentary whip removed and was banned from party activity for three months while an investigation was carried out.
This was sparked when it emerged the Bradford West MP had shared a post on Facebook which suggested Israel should be relocated in the US, along with the comment “problem solved”.
Then, a Twitter post came to light in which Ms Shah urged supporters of the Palestinian cause to vote in an online poll on Israeli military action, claiming that “the Jews are rallying” to skew the result.
Shah has also had a form with a previous shadow equalities minister:
A Labour MP has launched a fierce attack on a colleague’s claim that most men grooming children for sexual abuse are Pakistanis, branding her “irresponsible”.
Naz Shah accused Sarah Champion – Labour’s equalities spokesperson, with responsibility for how to prevent abuse – of making “blanket, racialised, loaded statements” that would set up stigmatised Pakistani boys to fail.
In fact, the Bradford West MP said, the vast majority of abusers are white men – including, as recent scandals have revealed, football coaches and entertainers.
Hey, welcome to the world of third wave feminism where all men are stigmatised as potential rapists and abusers. Two weeks later:
More than 42,000 people have called on a prominent Labour MP to resign after she called on victims of Asian sex abuse gangs to keep quiet “for diversity”.
The Sun revealed last week that Naz Shah retweeted and “liked” a post on Twitter that said: “Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths. For the good of diversity.”
She is a nasty piece of work – so a perfect fit for her new portfolio and her party.
